This drawing represents some early ideas about the continuation of Joseph Beuys' "Free International University." In this model, students meet in various places around the world (blue flags), learn together for a time, then separate and go back to life and work. The yellow lines represent paths that people travel. The earth is shown as a folded up dymaxion map from Buckminster Fuller and is surrounded by a storm, the cloud of unknowing and fear in which humanity lives today. The people depicted here are leaders in my life, most of whom I know, all of whom I respect.

I realize that the text here is too small to read.
